BAILEY Gerald William Peacefully at York Hospital on Saturday, 7th January, aged 85 years. Beloved husband to Pauline, much loved dad to Gill, Angie, Steven and the late Mark, dearly loved grandfather and brother. Funeral Service to be held at English Martyrs RC Church on Thursday, 26th January at 2pm followed by an interment at Fulford Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations can be made in Gerald's memory to Diabetes UK, a plate will be provided at the Service. All enquiries to JG Fielder & Son Funeral Directors on 01904 654460.

My Grandad was a wonderful man a true gentleman. He was so kind, funny and sarcastic he had a great sense of humour and a cheeky character and was truly the most amazing Grandad. He loved our family dearly and will be so missed by us all. We were lucky to have shared so many incredible times and special moments together and that is something I will never forget and will treasure as he’s been in my life through my childhood to adulthood. A special Grandad a wonderful father and brother and a fantastic husband to my Grandma. Love you Gegger Bailey 😘❤️ you will always be remembered in our hearts forever.
