DICKSON Lawrence (Laurie) Passed away suddenly at home on 16th December, aged 86 years. Beloved husband of 60 years to Betty, much loved dad of Caroline and Raymond, grandad to Elliot, Lawrence and Lewis. A celebration of life will be held at St John the Baptist Church, Stamford Bridge on Friday 10th February at 1pm. All enquiries to Bryan Mills Funeral Directors 01759 373015

DAD
One year ago God called your name to leave
And with sadness it was your time to answer that call
It broke all our hearts as we started to grieve
After this great man did fall
As months have passed I felt you close
Like you and I never left at all
I feel your laughter in times of joy
And your compassion when I’m distressed
See, you never really left me dad
In my heart you’ll always be
I can’t look back in sadness now
Why cry for a soul set free
This year was just the first of many
You’ll be missed each day passing by
But I know we will all reunite once again
And then forever
…. returned we shall stay
