BROWN Peggy Of Escrick, peacefully on 19th February, aged 97 years. Much loved wife of the late Derek, mum of Jane and the late Ann, grandma to Stephen, Ben and Sam and a great-grandma, mother-in-law of Bill, Carol and the late John. Funeral service to take place at St Helen's Church, Escrick on Thursday 16th March at 2pm. Family flowers only please, donation's in Peggy's memory may be given to Martin House Hospice & Marie Curie, a donation plate will be provided at church. Peggy was a much loved lady in Escrick and was always cheerful and friendly to us when we lived there. She will be missed by her many friends and family. My best memory of Peggy was when I bumped into her whilst I was walking to Escrick church to get married! She said some lovely things to me which I will always remember! RIP Peggy. Barbara Simpson
