NYE Brian Passed away peacefully with his wife and daughters by his side on 9th March 2023, aged 84. Loving husband to Angela, and cherished father to Karen and Lesley. Dear father-in-law to Dave and Ant. Devoted grandad to Bethan, Alex, Josh, and Grace. The funeral service will take place on Monday 27th March at St. Thomas' Church on Lowther St at 2pm, followed by committal at York Cemetery. Family flowers only please. So sad to learn of Brian, (Ben’s) passing.
We were both old boys of AHGS, we joined the Army Reserve and attending camps, we also worked closely at British Rail and despite the now great distances separating us we kept up correspondence over many years.
Ben was a super guy and I shall miss him.
