MAY Allan Aged 87, peacefully passed away at York Hospital on Friday 31st March surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of the late Doris, devoted dad to Gill, father-in-law to John, amazing grandad to Laura and Simon and a loving brother, brother-in-law and uncle. He was a friend to many and he will always be our "HERO". The funeral service will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, Kirk Hammerton on Wednesday 3rd May at 2.00pm and afterwards at York & District Indoor Bowls Club. Family and friends will be most welcome to join us at the celebration of his life. Family flowers only please, donations gratefully received will be split between the British Heart Foundation and St. John the Baptist Church, Kirk Hammerton a plate will be provided in the Church.
