SUTTON Ronald George Sadly after much pain and suffering, Ron passed away 25th May in York Hospital, aged 77. Ron is survived by his wife Ellen. Son of the late Joan and Ronald Arthur, brother to Margaret and the late Jean. Respected son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and dear friend. Service at York Crematorium 11th July at 1pm. Please wear sports clothing or western wear. No flowers, donations in lieu to St Leonard's Hospice. All enquiries to Co-op Funeralcare, Haxby. Tel 01904 760086

Sorry to hear we’ve lost Ron. A good friend. My dearest recollection is that we were stood together, shoulder to shoulder, at Wembley 6 May 1972, when Alan Clarke scored the FA Cup Winner directly in front of us. Great memories Ron - I’m raising a glass to you as I type.
