THORNLEY David (Dave) Peacefully in St Leonard's Hospice after a short illness bravely borne on Saturday 3rd June 2023 aged 78 years. Ex British Telecoms. Much loved husband of Ann, devoted dad to Helen and Stephen, dear father-in-law of Steve and Heidi, proud grandad of Steph and Sam, great-grandad of Harper, beloved brother of the late Sandra. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service to be held at York Crematorium on Wednesday 21st June at 1.00pm. Family flowers only please, donations will be shared between St Leonards Hospice and the British Heart Foundation. A plate will be provided at the service.
