ALLEN Ray Sadly passed away on 8th June 2023 aged 81 years. Loving father to Jane and Rachel and a lifelong friend to ex-wife Carol. Devoted grandfather and great grandfather. Funeral service to be held at York Crematorium on Tuesday 4th July at 2:20pm Family flowers only. Donations would be gratefully received for York Heart Foundation. Here from New Zealand, I share with you all the love and remembrance of a good, kind man. A quiet man who kept his feelings close to his heart and loved his family and friends with the same sincere gentleness.
As a child growing up in our big family, I shared many happy times with my brother Ray. Lots of fun and laughter. As I am now the last remaining Allen, I shall try to keep the flag flying.
Sleep in peace and contentment Ray. You have earned your rewards.
