JACKSON Margaret Ellen On Saturday August 5 2023 peacefully at home aged 74 years. Much loved mum to Tee, Vicky, Scott, Guy and Gemma. Adored 'Nan' and sister to Stephen and Carole. A celebration for this 'Lady in Red' at York Crematorium on Thursday September 7 2023 at 11am. Family flowers only. Donations in Margaret's memory for York Carer's Centre.Tributes

Born just over 4 months apart to twin sisters, as cousins Margaret and I spent much of our time together in those early years. River Street, Clive Grove and Balmoral Terrace. Happy Days. I was sad to hear of her passing, but I will be there to say my final goodbye on the 7th. RIP

It has been a pleasure to know Margaret over the past 8 years. She was so wonderfully stubborn at times as I’m sure her family can testify! She was also incredibly tough right up until the end. Best wishes to all of her incredibly supportive family and I will definitely be having a vodka and tonic on the 7th in tribute. RIP Iron Lady

So many memories of our childhood together as cousins especially at our grandparent's home, 26 Balmoral Terrace. Margaret insisting I had a hen do before my marriage. Mixed feelings of sadness but happiness as well for our shared childhood and family memories. My thoughts are with Margaret's family at this time. Anne
