SMITH Denise Dearly beloved wife of Kev and much loved mum of Amy & Kirsty passed peacefully in her sleep on Saturday 26th August. She also leaves behind her wonderful first family Pam & Gary, Jackie, Geoff, John and their families, along with many amazing friends and neighbours. She leaves with us a lasting memory of happiness and positivity that will never be forgotten. Denise's funeral will be at York Crematorium at 12:20 on Thursday 14th September. It was her wish, as difficult as it may be, for this to be a happy and colourful occasion, so please wear plenty of colour, and don't worry about the usual dress codes. When I met John he took me round to 'his mates house' that was the first time I met Kev and Dennis. I have never felt so at ease at a first meeting, we had a great evening, I laughed until I cried. As time went on and our lives diverged, we saw each other less and less, but every time we did meet up, it was as if it had only been yesterday that we had been together. She was one of a kind our Dennis and I am lucky to have known her.
