BARTON David Passed away very unexpectedly on holiday in his beloved Scarborough. Much adored by all his family and all his many friends at Network Rail and all at York City Football Club. Following York City was his life. Funeral to be held at York Crematorium on 11th October at 12.20pm. Family Flowers only. Donations in lieu to St Mary's Church Scarborough. Dave was one of the nicest lads I have ever met. I knew him from Nestlé Rowntree where he worked in the Mail Room. Everyone liked Dave and he always made me smile.
My husband Martin then met Dave at the York City matches as he too is a fan. He liked Dave instantly and as much as me.
Dave was a lovely lad and it has been an absolute pleasure to have known him. He will be very sadly missed but we will always remember him with love and a big smile.
We send all our love and hugs to all his family and friends.
