Aged 18 and leaving home to work at The Retreat, Miss Hornby looked after my well being, She taught me how to care for the individual and inspired me to strive to deliver that care in all aspects of life. She was a great mentor, and I will remember her always. "When you have a lull, can you just..." still lives on as a fond memory.
