WHITTAKER John On 27th October, peacefully at home after a long illness, aged 77 years, retired stonemason. Dearly loved husband of Sue, much loved dad of Liz and Kath, father-in-law of Paul and Darrel, treasured grandad to Emily, Megan, Leah, Rebecca and Eva. Funeral service to be held at St Paul's Church, Heslington on Friday 24th November at 1.15pm followed by a private cremation. Family flowers only please, donations can be made to Marie Curie Cancer Care and the British Lung Foundation - a plate will be provided at the service.
