METCALFE Rita It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rita Metcalfe a beloved mother to Mark and Trish and grandmother to Sam, George, Lexie and Harry. She peacefully departed from this world on the 21st November 2023 at the age of 89. A funeral service to celebrate Rita's life will be held on the 12th December 2023 at 2pm at St Mary's Church, Strensall. In honor of her memory, any contributions made will be shared between Dementia Research and St Mary's Church. Rest in peace, dearest Mum, your legacy of love, compassion and kindness will forever live on in our hearts.
