I have known Johnathan for 33yrs since he was an SHO in anaesthetics at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy in 1990 and then as Consultant Anaesthetist at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh over 33y He was a true gentleman, caring and compassionate a great Yorkshire man. We retired a month apart in 2021. I shall miss Johnathan very much.

I had the pleasure of working with Jon in the 1990’s and remember him very fondly. I loved his sense of humour and gentle character. So sad he’s no longer around. Sincerely, Magnus Garrioch
