PINCH Sheila Lucy (nee Rawling nee Patterson) Died peacefully with her daughter and son-in-law by her side on the 13 April 2024 after living with Dementia for six years (aged 96 years). Former Teaching Assistant at Huntington Primary School, helper with Meals on Wheels an avid attendee at All Saints Church and 30 years spent in St John's Ambulance attending York Theatre Royal and York City Football matches when on duty. Devoted mum to Helen, mother-in-law to Nigel, stepmother to Andrew and Liz, step grandmother to Joanna & Louise and cousin to Janet, Alan, the late John George and Ian and dearest aunty. Funeral Service to be held at All Saints Church, Huntington on Tuesday 14 May 2024 at 1.00pm. Family flowers only donations would be gratefully received for Dementia Forward. Sheila was a lovely lady- Aunty Sheila to my two children and invaluable with love and advice when they were babies. Sheila made my move to York as a young mum easy and was always there for me. Rest easy Sheila - you are remembered with much love. Pauline xx
