SMURTHWAITE Joseph Brian (Joe) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Brian Smurthwaite (Joe) on Saturday 11th May aged 91 years. Joe was a loving husband, father, brother and grandpa who will be missed greatly. Our family would like to thank staff of Ouse View for their compassion and dignity shown throughout Joe's time with them. A service will be held at English Martyrs R.C. Church, York on Monday 10th June at 10.00 followed by a private cremation. Family flowers only. Donations can be made to Dementia UK. A plate will be provided at the service.
