KITCHIN Rodney Rodney, luxury house builder and proud son of former York City Chairman Hugh, passed away peacefully on June 22nd, at the age of 80, following a short illness in Cape Town, South Africa - a wonderful place he was fortunate enough to call home for the past thirty years. He is survived by his children: Oliver, Gemma and Miles, and five grandchildren. Also mourning his loss are his wife of twenty-nine years, Jean; step-children Jacqui and Anton; and five step-grandchildren. No stranger to a good time and a friend to all, raise a glass or two in his memory this Friday when a celebration of his life will be in full swing under African skies.

I remember Rodney coming to my workplace many years ago (moverley skip hire and demolition ) he was a good friend of Ron moverley and Rodney's son oliver worked with us he invited Ron to Cape Town for a holiday. Rip rodney
