BROWN, Peter Higson Aged 85 years, of Ramsey on the the Isle of Man and formerly of York, passed away peacefully at Beaconsfield Care Home, Isle of Man on Friday 5th July 2024. Beloved husband of the late Jacqueline Brown and much-loved father of Mike and Chris. Peter worked as teacher in York, firstly at Bootham School, then as deputy head for Archbishops Holgate and finally at the Sixth Form College as Vice Principal. He was a stalwart of Heworth Golf Club and Escrick Cricket Club. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at Douglas Crematorium on Wednesday 24th July at 10.45am. Donations in lieu of flowers to be made to Alzheimer's Society UK.
