With a heavy heart, the family of Elaina Nina Smith nee Bassett, announce her passing on Saturday 28th September 2024 aged 68 years.Elaina will be greatly missed by her remaining children, Shaun & Elena, her ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and her family.Everyone who met Elaina was in awe of her work ethic, selflessness, wide set of skills, and kindness.
She did not let life's struggles prevent her lovely personality from shining through.The funeral service will be held at the York Crematorium at 10:20am on Friday 25th October. The wake will be at The Knavesmire Pub afterwards, all are welcome to attend. Donations in Elaina's memory can be made to
