TWO man have appeared in court after police discovered a cannabis farm in a large North Yorkshire house.
Nhu-Ban Dinh, 43, and Duc Ta Quang, 23, appeared in York Magistrates’ Court charged with cannabis production and using electricity without authority.
Officers searched the large, detached property in Garnet Lane, Tadcaster, on Friday and discovered several rooms had been taken over with cannabis production equipment and a substantial number of plants.
The Vietnamese nationals, of no fixed address in the UK, did not make a plea at this morning's hearing.
They were detained in custody to await a further court hearing.
A 22-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, both from Manchester, have been released on bail while enquiries continue.
