THREE men have been charged over the death of Robert Adamczyk, who died after being attacked on a night out.
The 28-year-old engineer, who lived with his girlfriend in Saxton near Tadcaster, was on a stag do in Leeds when the attack happened in the early hours of December 9.
An 18-year-old man from Armley has been charged with manslaughter and affray. Two other 18-year-olds, from Wortley and Armley, have been charged with affray. All three are due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court on March 6.
Mr Adamczyk was originally from South Milford and is believed to have attended Sherburn High School. He played left back for South Milford Football Club, which described him as a “genuine, funny, gentle, fun-loving and kind man.”
