A WOMAN has been injured in a collision in Leeman Road this morning.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said the 33-year-old pedestrian was trapped under a car at about 8.15am, close to the National Railway Museum, while crossing the road.
The woman was taken to hospital with suspected lower back and leg injuries, which the police spokesman said were not thought to be serious.
The female driver of the car was uninjured in the incident and was not arrested, and the road was open again by 8.45am.
