I DON'T see why they can't incorporate the HS2 rail link into the international rail network.

It is only eight miles from Brookmans Park to the Eurostar line without even coming into St Pancras. I imagine being able to get a through train from York to Barcelona, Naples or even Istanbul. Then when the wars in Afghanistan and other parts of Africa are over, Cape Town and Shanghai.

The cost and the size of our country means we have to broaden our horizons and be part of the European and eventually international rail network right up to North Scotland.
