IF YOU want to know why politicians are held in contempt by the public, listening to MPs of all parties offering plaudits to the disgraced Chris Huhne and the bickering over the coming by-election for his seat, will tell you why.

Not a word of condemnation for him being a bare-faced liar, who has brazenly tried to use his position to hide his continual lies.

An additional charge of perjury should now be put to him and he deserves a long sentence. Some hope.
