PLANS have been put forward to make huge changes to a post office near Selby.
The Post Office has unveiled plans to move the Camblesforth branch from Brigg Lane to the village’s Mini Market in Croft Road, a five minute walk away.
The public have been urged to have their say on the move, which would see the Post Office open for 111 hours a week, more than double its current hours, and seven days a week, with a new-style, open plan branch.
Adrian Wales, Post Office regional network manager, said: “We understand how important having a Post Office is to residents in Camblesforth and we are confident that this new, modern branch will make it easier for our customers to do business with us and also secure services for the future.”
He said the proposal was part of a three-year investment programme.
