TITLE rivals Rawcliffe and Wigginton Grasshoppers both picked up big wins in the York FA Under-19s Football League.
Rawcliffe, six points behind in second with two games in hand, were 6-1 winners at Haxby.
Callum Ward and Reg Miah both netted twice, while there were also goals for Jordan Grose and Andy Simpson.
Leaders Wigginton trounced pointless hosts Poppleton 7-0 with a brace apiece from Pat Evans and Jamie Willstrop to add to strikes from Dan Welborn, Tom Espin and Sam Martin.
Copmanthorpe kept up their good form, beating eight-man Strensall 10-1. The marksmen were Nick May (2), Lewis Beecher (2), Jonah Beecher (2), Sam Fox, George Parkinson, Matt Blackburn and Jamie Storry. Adam McLellan scored for Strensall.
Fulford beat Wistow 4-3 with goals by Sam Pepper (3) and Liam Walker.
