PUPILS from Linton-on-Ouse Primary School paid a visit to a nearby RAF base to learn about how the air force uses electricity in its daily operations.
The pupils, aged between nine and 11, also spent time in the station’s safety equipment section where they learned about parachutes, ejector seats and land and sea survival.
The visit was hosted by staff from Babcock International Group. It is one of the UK’s leading defence support services company which provides engineering and technical support for the station.
