NORTH Yorkshire police are hunting for a man who allegedly indecently exposed himself to an elderly woman and teenage girls in Northallerton.
The first incident took place on Sunday, at about 10am, when when a blue estate car pulled up alongside an elderly woman in Racecourse Lane. The man driving the car asked her for directions and then exposed himself, police said.
A short time later, a blue estate stopped near three young teenage girls in East Road. The driver began to talk to them before exposing himself.
The man is white, aged in his late 20s to early 30s with brown spiky hair. He was wearing a light shirt and blue jeans.
Sgt Gary Sellers said: “I need to speak to anyone else who may have been approached in a similar manner.”
Police community support officers were visiting schools in the town to advise pupils to walk away and phone 999 if approached by the man.
