AN electrical fault has been blamed for causing a fire at a farm near York.
Firefighters were called to the farm in Hutton Wandesley, near Askham Richard, where a vehicle in a barn had caught fire.
The loading vehicle – which suffered 80 per cent fire damage – had been moved from inside the barn by the time firefighters arrived.
It is understood Monday’s blaze was started by an electrical fault, a fire service spokesman said.
