LAST night in the Minster the University of York celebrated the “50 years of changing the World”.
As it was Shrove Tuesday and the beginning of Lent, maybe they ought to have given up building on the Green Belt for Lent.
Shrove Tuesday comes from the word ‘shrive’, meaning to confess. Perhaps while they were in the Minster they should have confessed to adding to all the pollution.
