THIEVES have stolen specialised bikes and accessories worth nearly £43,000 in Beverley.
One victim, James Harper, 34, of Leven, was asleep in his semi-detached house when offenders broke into his shed and stole four custom-made mountain bikes worth almost £10,000, but left an expensive set of golf clubs and tools.
He said the criminals semed to have good knowledge that he had the bikes and where they were.
