THORPE United Under-14s were 3-1 winners over visitors Colton in division one of the Garforth Junior Football League.
Thorpe ’keeper Alex Ward was a spectator for much of the match as the home side dominated.
The opening goal came when Shaun Heselwood drilled the ball in after Colton failed to clear when Ben Clowes’ header came back off a post.
A few moments later, Clowes caught the ’keeper off his line with an effort from wide on the left that dropped just under the bar.
Corey Littlefield hit a post before getting on the scoresheet after intercepting a poor pass.
Colton were awarded a late penalty for a trip in the area, and Ward sent the ’keeper wrong way from the spot.
