Martin House Children’s Hospice at Boston Spa is set to receive more than £20,000 from ITV’s Text Santa.
The appeal raised more than £5.2 million which will equally benefit six UK charities including Together for Short Lives, the leading charity for UK children’s hospices. The funds raised for Together For Short Lives will support 49 children’s hospices across the country, including Martin House.
Carol Devine, from Martin House, said: “We are thrilled that the funds raised from Text Santa will benefit children and families from the Yorkshire area who are supported by Martin House Children’s Hospice. We are just one of the 49 children’s hospice services to benefit from the money donated by ITV viewers which will help support thousands of families caring for a child with a life-threatening or life-limiting illness."
