About the Golf Club

SKELTON Park Golf Club is a friendly and relaxed nine-hole golf course located just a few miles outside York city centre.

Welcoming both experienced and novice players, the course features a combination of both long (261 yards) and short (104 yards) holes.

The fairways contain many hazards with bunkers, water features, gentle slopes and plenty of trees to negotiate en route to the pin.

The clubhouse offers club hire, coffee and tea, sandwiches and hot meals.

You can relax by the putting green or inside the comfortable lounge.

The course has a ‘smart casual’ dress code, with trainers or golf shoes required to protect the greens, and is set in idyllic and mature parkland.

It represents a challenge to newcomers and those still finding their feet in the game.

PGA qualified club pro Andrew Wright is at Skelton every day for golf lessons, charging £15 per lesson.
