RAIL services between York and Middlesbrough have been disrupted this afternoon after a road vehicle hit a railway bridge.
The incident occurred close to Middlesbrough at about 11.50am.
First Transpennine Express and Northern Rail services are delayed by up to 45 minutes, and some services will terminate early.
Rail users are advised to check with their operators before travelling.
