THE winners of a competition to promote the reuse of recycled materials among school children have received their prizes.
Naomi Sharp and Finn Baqai won the Craftcyclers competition, run by City of York Council and local publisher Junkcraft Books.
Pupils were asked to design and build either a hotrod racing car, a plane or an out-of-this-world spaceship – but all entries had to be made from recycled items found around the home.
Naomi and Finn received a set of Junkcraft books, a glue gun, a construction set prize by Meccano, plus a Super Construction Set prize for their school.
