THIS photograph, taken at 15.45 on February 15, is a good illustration of the problems with vehicular access at York Station.

The silver car is reversing out of the traffic jam in Tea Room Square, where a BT Police officer was trying to get traffic moving. I saw another car do the same reversing move into Queen Street two minutes earlier. The road here is a further example of poor traffic management and lack of signage for pedestrians wishing to cross .
