Stockeld Park, near Wetherby, is running a skating rink during this week’s half-term holiday.

Simply Skate will be open until Sunday and offers skating, beginner and intermediate coaching and ice-hockey activities led by staff from Hull Stingrays ice hockey team.

There will also be an ice disco tomorrow from 7pm to 9pm. Said manager Andy Meeks: “Simply Skate is about inviting people of all ages on to the ice, having fun and building confidence. It’s also a great way for the whole family to get together and get active outdoors in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside this February half term.”
