TICKETS are still available for a charity race night in York to raise money for the refurbishment of York Hospital’s stroke unit.
The evening takes place in the Post Office Club in Marygate, at 7pm on Tuesday, with the first runners under starters orders from 8pm.
Lucy Lowthian, fundraising manager at York Hospital, said: “Race nights are always such great evenings that provide a fun and exciting atmosphere. We really want the evening to be a great success and we hope as many people will come along as possible to support the appeal.”
Tickets cost £2 and include entry into a free prize draw. Call Lucy on 01904 721737 or email lucy.lowthian@york.nhs.uk
Tickets can also be bought in the new Volunteering and Fundraising Office on the main corridor at York Hospital.
