SEVENS rugby union will be in full flow next week.
York’s St Peter’s School and its junior school St Olave’s will host two high-profile tournaments.
The U14/U16 sevens tournament, featuring 32 teams, will be on Wednesday, February 27, starting at 10.30am. The U16s will be played at York Rugby Union Club’s Clifton Park base.
The U12 sevens tournament will be at St Olave’s on Thursday, February 28, starting at 1.15pm.
Teams competing will include Terrington, Easingwold, Ampleforth, Pocklington, Hymers, Bradford, Merchiston and Barnard Castle, with two teams from hosts St Olave’s.
Meanwhile, Terrington Hall will host an U11 sevens event on Wednesday, February 27, with the U13 version on Wednesday, March 6.
