A DISPLAY of model railways will be on show at Heworth Church Hall in York this weekend.
The Ebor Group of Railway Modellers will display nine layouts belonging to members of the club and other local people in the large hall, with other exhibitors including Monk Bar Model Shop, and a café set up by York Against Cancer.
The event will run today and tomorrow, from 10am to 4pm. It is back by popular demand after last year’s success and was being officially opened by the Lord Mayor of York Coun Keith Hyman and the civic party this morning.
Admission is £2 for adults and £1 for children, with fees going to help the Ebor Group of Railway Modellers support its elderly members.
Geoff Hill, a member of the group, said visitors can enjoy the display, add to their collection and get advice from members.
