YORK-BORN golf star Simon Dyson is back to his most dazzling as he competed in the third round of the Sunshine Tour.
The 35-year-old, whose world rating of 83 kept him out of the current World Golf Championship series event in snow-hit Arizona, opted to play in the Sunshine Tour event at the Fancourt Links complex in South Africa.
And after two rounds of the tournament at which players tackle three courses before returning to Fancourt for the final day tomorrow, he was lying third on 12-under-par, one adrift of joint leaders, South African duo Jaco Van Zyl and Heine Otto.
Dyson bagged eight birdies and two bogeys in the first round, followed yesterday by seven birdies and just one dropped shot.
