THE Campaign to End Child Poverty obviously has its own agenda in producing a report (The Press, February 20).
It is described in the article as a “landmark new report”, so it may well be visible on a hill near you. The Press is hardly impartial with its own agenda to “Stamp Out Poverty” featuring heavily.
Can someone please publicly define what are the official guidelines for someone being in poverty, as this emotive word is being used willy-nilly and often for political reasons?
I am in the Hull Road area quite a lot, but I don’t see street urchins making up 24 per cent of children there.
