A FIVE-YEAR plan for tackling homelessness in York could be approved by city leaders next week.
The homelessness strategy, which will be discussed by the council’s cabinet next week, will focus on early intervention measures and better care, increasing the supply of affordable housing and rented accommodation, improving temporary accommodation and minimising use of bed-and-breakfasts to house homeless people.
