CRICKET clubs in North and East Yorkshire are being urged to take part in AEG’s 2013 grassroots competition, where teams can win new kits, washing machines and the chance to train at Lord’s with their sporting heroes.
Teams from every town and city in the UK are being encouraged to enter to become one of 40 teams – junior and senior – to receive an ultimate kit and laundry package that includes 11 bespoke cricket kits, designed by the winning teams, as well as an AEG washing machine in time for the start of the season.
Former Yorkshire and England star Darren Gough said: “It’s important that AEG is continuing to support grassroots cricket this year.
“We need to give youth teams all the backing and support possible. They’re our future stars. I urge every team to apply.”
