SELBY Town will be looking to close on their relegation rivals when they travel to Louth Town tonight (7.45pm) in Northern Counties East League division one.

Basement side Selby have won two of their last three games to move to within eight points of both Askern Villa and Yorkshire Amateur at the foot of the table.

Victory over tenth-placed Louth would keep alive manager Ian Dring’s hopes of avoiding relegation.

Prolific striker Danny Gray has helped turn around the Robins fortunes in front of goal, scoring four times in three games.

In those three fixtures Selby have netted ten goals, in contrast to the 23 they bagged in the previous 23 games.

Meanwhile, in-form Tadcaster Albion travel to Winterton Rangers in round three of the NCEL League Cup tonight (7.45pm).
