HELP a child victim of domestic abuse this Easter – that is the plea from a York landlady who is urging local residents to donate a seasonal egg.
Wendy Hyde, landlady of the Ainsty pub in Acomb, is urging all customers and local residents in York to buy an extra Easter egg when shopping and to donate it towards youngsters living in a refuge.
Following a very successful Christmas present campaign for York-based charity Independent Domestic Abuse Services (IDAS), Wendy said she wanted to repeat the appeal for Easter.
Anyone who wants to donate should take Easter eggs to the pub by March 27.
