FULFORD RESIDENT and University of York student Kate Dibb has been accepted for the Great North Run.
Along with her father and eldest brother, she will be running to raise awareness and money for the ABA-VB (Applied Behavioural Analysis – Verbal Behaviour) teaching programme for autistic children at Kings Mill School in Driffield.
Dan, another of Kate’s brothers, is autistic and has been benefiting from the ABA-VB programme for the past five years.
Kate and her family are running to raise funds for the school to enable more children to benefit from the programme, but also to raise awareness of the programme itself. Kate is studying to become an ABA-VB teacher.
