A MAN has been assaulted in Harrogate town centre.
Police are appealing for information after the 34-year-old local man was attacked near the taxi rank in Station Parade at about 5.30pm on Wednesday.
He suffered bruising and swelling to his face but did not need hospital treatment.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail as inquiries continue.
